SPRAY WITH WATER

Start your day with a little spray. Add a few drops of oil to your spray bottle and spritz your hair every morning to enliven and reduce brittleness.

OPEN LINES 

To ensure that you get oil direct onto the scalp, you will need to open lines in the hairline using a comb.  Applying oil directly to the scalp allows oil to moisturise roots.

HAIR OIL & MASSAGE

Massaging the scalp helps to activate hair follicles and roots, stimulating growth. Apply hair oil to ensure deep penetrating moistire to scalp and hair follicles.

APPLY HAIR FOOD

 

To style natural hair,  apply hair food or styling mousse. This will offer additional moisture protection, while allowing you to create the style you desire.

STYLE 

Style and shape hair in the style you desire. Don't over-style as this damages hair.

Caring for your natural hair is one of the most challenging styles. But once you give your hair the time and care needed you will reap the benefits and save a lot on hair products.

MOISTURISE

Moisturise braids with a braids moisturiser or spritz daily with some water. Avoid mineral oils, only use natural oils to moisturise.

WASH

BRAIDS

 

Caring for braids means keeping them clean. Wash them once a week to clear sweat and dirt. Wet, but don't rub, simply pat them dry with a t-shirt. 

BRAID TOUCH-UP

 

Use a mixture of oil & water to maintain your natural hair underneath the braids. And don't forget the edges. 

APPLY

HAIR OIL

 

Caring for your scalp and roots is essential, so ensure that the oil or food is applied along the lines to keep your natural hair strong.

TIPS

PROTECT - your braids at night by wearing a silky fabric wrap or bonnet.

REDUCE - up-dos,  too much manipulation or pulling as it may stress the roots.

RELAXING

When relaxing hair, stick to the same product and best to use  a normal strength one that works, as it reduces damage. 

WASHING & DEEP CLEANSE

 

Wash your hair with a natural shampoo and conditioner to both treat and keep scalp and hair clean, ensuring healthy healthy and avoids dandruff. 

APPLY HAIR FOOD 

Give your hair a daily treatment with Hair FOOD to prevent breakage and    moisturise brittle dry hair. It also helps to style hair, leaving it shiny and full of moisture.

CONDITION WITH OIL

For deep moisture do a weekly oil treatment. Open lines in your hair and apply natural oils to your scalp. 

Massage  the oil into the scalp along the openened lines to activate the roots.

TIPS

DEEP CLEANSE SCALP with diluted Apple Cider Vinegar.

DONT BRUSH when relaxer is on hair as chemicals may damage the hair follicles and roots.
